Say no to Coastal Policy changes - make a submission now!

The Tasmanian government has proposed changes to the state Coastal Policy that could open up the incredible lutruwita/Tasmanian coastline to private and commercial developments like marinas, buildings and wharves, and enable the construction of a 510m wharf for the unwanted Robbins Island wind farm, which is currently being appealed in the Supreme Court.

Make a submission NOW to the Validation (State Coastal Policy) Bill 2024 to protect lutruwita/Tasmania's natural coastline and the Tasmanian way of life by leaving the state Coastal Policy as it is. The policy needs strengthening, not weakening.

Hurry, submissions close on August the 1st at 5pm.
