Environment Tasmania is concerned about water quality in Tasmania.  In particular, water quality issues in the Break O'Day region and the George River Catchment in the North East of Tasmania have been extensively researched by scientisits, local residents, community groups and local St Helens doctor Alison Bleaney.  In early 2010, The ABC's Australian Story presented a two part expose on water quality and associtated environmental and public health issues in North East Tasmania.  Click on the links below to watch the program.
