The Tasmanian Eco-Toxicology Research Fund

The Tasmanian Eco-Toxicology Reserach Fund is a public fund set-up to facilitate the undertaking of quality research on the health of our state's unique and precious natural environment.

This fund was established in 2008 via a generous donation to Environment Tasmania Inc.Environment Tasmania continues to host the fund, with the research projects and activities being assessed by an advisory board.

The Eco-Toxicology Research Fund will be used to support independent, strategic, eco-toxicology testing & research and will be used to raise public awareness about eco-toxicology threats to our environment and public health.

Tas Eco-Toxicology Research Fund is a catalyst for change from the ‘bottom-up’ with the community as its heart. It will support public and occupational health, trade in food based commodities, wildlife monitoring, and of course, ecological sustainability.
