The climate change policies of Tasmanian political parties were open to public scrutiny last night at the ‘Vote for a Safe Climate’ forum hosted by Climate Action Hobart (CAH) and Environment Tasmania (ET).
ET is looking for a highly motivated, hard-working and experienced candidate to take on the role of policy coordinator. The policy coordinator will provide a broad role in the coordination of the development, implementation and advocacy of Environment Tasmania’s policies on environmental and conservation issues.
The Forest Industries Association of Tasmania campaign launched today is designed to block Tasmanians’ desire for protection of Tasmania’s native forests (as evidenced by recent opinion polls*) by hiding the truth about native forest logging and export wood-chipping, said Environment Tasmania today.

The conservation group said the revelations are worth a dedicated leaders’ debate in the election.
