Both the Hobart and Blue Tier events were a great success - big thanks to everyone who came along.

Walk Against Warming (WAW) is Australia’s community day of action on climate change. This year in Hobart about 200 community members gathered at the Cornelian Bay foreshore for a vegan BBQ and kite flying and called on the state and federal governments to be world leaders on climate change.

Speakers included, Peter Boyer (The Climate Project), Christine Milne (Australian Greens Senator), Margaret Steadman (Sustainable Living Tasmania), Corey Peterson (Sustainability Officer, Mackillop College) and Sam Simenetis (Rail, Tram and Bus Union).
