There are currently over 20 member groups of Environment Tasmania.
Environment Tasmania is the peak body for environment groups across the state is structured to ensure accountability to member groups. We have the ear of government and industry leaders and our member groups shape the direction we take, issues we address and how we tackle them.
Et members get voting rights at our quarterly General Meetings and the chance to nominate and elect a management committee at the start of each year to oversee and set policy for ET governance, HR, budget and admin.
Environment Tasmania’s current member groups are spread right across Tasmania, and work on a broad range of environmental issues. Their members & supporters come from all walks of life and represent a broad cross-section of the Tasmanian community.
There are a few rules about what kind of groups can become members. Click here to find more.
