From Hobart:

Take the Brooker Hwy north out of Hobart. At Granton turn left onto the Lyell Hwy (A10). Follow past New Norfolk and Continue straight onto Glenora Road (B62), following the signs to Mt Field National Park.

Continue on towards Bushy Park. Turn Left onto Gordon River Road (B61), following the signs to Mt Field National Park. There is a Fuel stop at Bushy Park.

Continue along Gordon River Rd (B61), through Glenora, then through Karanja.

At Westerway the B61 turns left. Make sure you remember to turn!! Again, follow the signs to Mt Field National Park.

Westerway is a great spot to stop for coffee. There's a lovely cafe on the river as well as a fuel stop and mini-mart.

Continue along Gordon River Rd (B61), past Mt Field National Park.

Keep going until you reach Maydena. Maydena is the last town before the event. Last minute supplies and fuel can be purchased from the Post Office.

The event is 20 minutes straight ahead past Maydena.

Please drive carefully. Please pay attention to the signs and traffic wardens as you approach the event and SLOW DOWN!

TRAVEL TIMES:

The event is 1.5 hours drive from Hobart. We recommend leaving Hobart between 8-8.30am if you want to have a coffee break and get to the event with enough time to go for a forest walk.

Leaving Hobart by 9.30am will give you time for a coffee break and get you there for the start of the event.
