For many people who are passionate about conservation, working in the environment sector is a dream job – imagine working to protect our unique marine ecosystems, to create a connected conservation landscape across the state, or to turn Tasmania into a world-leader in self-sufficiency and renewable energy. Regardless of how passionate you are, sometimes it is hard to get an environmental job without experience and hands-on training is difficult to find.

The Environment Tasmania Internship Program 2012 aims to provide motivated individuals with experience and training in conservation campaigning while working alongside the dynamic team. Key areas of focus include the marine and forest conservation programmes; media and communications; and supporting Environment Tasmania’s member groups with their diverse and wide ranging campaigns.
